Tri-Star Glove was the site of the Daviess County CEO classes business visit on Tuesday, December 11th. This company was created 19 years ago and is housed in the old Plainville Elementary school building. Tri-Star Glove manufacturers "Personal Protection Equipment." Specifically, they create gloves and apparel garments that are designed to protect threats to workers. Eric Moll, President told the class that Tri-Star Glove "designs what the market needs." Tri-Star works with their clients to create products that solve the employees greatest threats to injury. Most of their gloves are made with kevlar and/or tworen material. These same materials are used by the Unites States military to protect soldiers. Tri-Star gloves produce products for eight different Toyota plants and seven different auto manufacturers. They have also developed a line of products that protect employees from molten aluminum and iron ore smelting. Mr. Moll told the class that Tri-Star solves all six threats that workers face, unlike competitors products that may only protect three of those threats. After Mr. Moll spoke to the class, Mark Graber led the class on a tour of the production facility. Thank you Tri-Star Glove for your hospitality.
