Layne Fowler, Daviess County CEO graduate from 2016 spoke to the class on Thursday, December 20th. There were several topics that Layne covered, but what stood out the most, was the passion in her voice. Layne will be attending school in Vancouver, Canada next year. She will be pursuing a degree in marine biology. She has always had a passion for saving animals and has worked with non-profits that have supported this cause. Fowler told the students that "It's time to leave a job when your voice isn't being heard." She challenged to students to not compromise their morals and integrity. The job and money is not the carrot, what you can do to make something or someone better is. "Everyone has an effect on something." Layne is also very active in the CEO alumni organization. She has attended the national trade show and has been involved in CEO alumni activities. Thank you Layne for speaking to the class. You can follow Layne on her blog at layneatlife.com
