"What breaks your heart?" This was the challenge question that Ben Miller, Executive Director of Camp Illiana asked CEO students on Tuesday, May 14th. In explaining the role of a non-profit organization, Mr. Miller wanted the students to understand that the mission of a non-profit is what drives the organization. If students solve the question of "What breaks your heart?" they are more likely to understand how a non-profit operates.

Camp Illiana was started in 1949 by a group of churches in Illinois and Indiana (hence the name Illiana) as an outreach mission to minister to both youths and adults in the region. Today, the camp operates 12 months out of the year but is more heavily used during the summer months. Campers from elementary, junior high and high school ages are very common during the summer. A big thank you for the breakfast and for allowing us to experience the zip line.
