"Be known for something, distinguish yourself among others." Clark Baker along with his wife Carolyn shared this and many more important Life Lessons with the Daviess County CEO class on Thursday morning. Instead of the annual trek from Nashville, Tennessee, Clark and Carolyn joined the class via a zoom conference. The CEO class reads Carolyn's great book titled "Work Play Pray Hard." This book is a testimonial to Clark's 50 years of involvement with the YMCA organization. It is more than a leadership book, it is a book for anyone interested in learning more about life and how one person (Clark Baker) can impact thousands of lives.

Carolyn remarked that writing a book is easy "When you're passionate about something." For a copy of the book or to find out more about Carolyn and Clark, go to Carolyn's facebook page at carolynbaker-author.

Clark also emphasized the importance and impact of the handwritten note. He talked about making sure you thank someone 7 times. One last quote that was impactful for our students was "Everything you do - do it right. Someone is always watching."

Thank you Clark & Carolyn Baker for a fantastic conference call.
