On April 18th, 2023, the Daviess County CEO Cohort welcomed Steven Burch from Harvest Health & Rehab. “Owners, Erin (Burch) Burns and her brother, Steven Burch, were born and raised in Loogootee. This dynamic duo set their roots here and wanted to make a difference in their hometown. They saw a need to bring specialized therapies to this small town and help give back to the community. Harvest Health & Rehab houses some of the most talented and passionate therapists who deliver Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies to all ages in one convenient location.”
Steven told the Cohort, as your business grows that you will need to relinquish responsibilities and trust your people. Your employees have high expectations of you just as you do of them, treat them with respect. You have to be willing and able to make tough decisions. He talked about the benefits and sacrifices of having your own business. He also explained, EBITDA, which is short for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. Thank you, Steven for stopping by and spending the morning with us, what a treat.
