On September 9th, 2025, the Daviess County CEO Cohort hosted Chastity Sward, Guidance Counselor at Barr-Reeve High School and CEO program Board Member. During her visit, Chastity enrolled all cohort participants in college credit courses through Ivy Tech Community College, providing students with valuable transferable credits.
After introducing herself and sharing her background, Chastity offered essential advice for success. She emphasized the importance of being willing to work hard and simply showing up, noting that consistent presence makes a significant difference. Chastity reminded students that each person brings unique gifts to the group and encouraged them to embrace the fact that success doesn't follow a straight path. Her final message urged students to get involved and take initiative rather than waiting passively for opportunities.
