On September 15, 2026, the Daviess County CEO Cohort welcomed Chastity Sward, Guidance Counselor at Barr-Reeve High School and a CEO program Board Member. During her visit, Chastity enrolled all cohort participants in college credit courses through Ivy Tech Community College, giving students a head start with transferable credit toward their futures.
After sharing a bit about herself and her background, Chastity offered the students some hard-earned advice. She stressed that hard work and consistency go a long way — simply showing up, day after day, makes a real difference. She reminded the group that everyone brings something unique to the table, and that success rarely follows a straight line. She closed with a challenge: don't wait for opportunities to come to you — get involved, take initiative, and make things happen.
