Daviess County CEO Welcomes Back Alumna Chloe Garland.
On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Daviess County CEO Cohort welcomed back 2023 graduate Chloe Garland for an inspiring visit before fall break. Now a senior at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, she is pursuing double majors in Accounting and Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation, along with minors in Economics and Political Science.
Chloe shared how participating in the CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) program helped her step outside her comfort zone, discover her passion for business, and gain firsthand entrepreneurial experience by launching her own business. Those early experiences continue to influence her college journey and future goals.
During her presentation, Chloe offered practical advice to help students prepare for success beyond high school. She stressed the importance of building a strong resume, creating a personal “brag sheet” to highlight accomplishments, staying organized with a planner, and getting involved in college activities. She also encouraged students to start building connections now, embrace philanthropy, ask thoughtful questions, and be authentic in everything they do.
She reminded students that networking can open unexpected doors and that you never know who might help you reach your goals. Her message encouraged the cohort to take advantage of opportunities, continue growing, and make the most of the connections they build along the way.
Thank you, Chloe, for returning to share your experiences and valuable advice with the Daviess County CEO Cohort. We appreciate your willingness to give back to the program and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs!
